About Us

Sofraa Al- Hayat Organization for public health formerly known as Iraqi Telemedicine Center—based in Sadr City, Baghdad—was founded in 2017 as the first telemedicine initiative in Iraq. Officially registered as a local NGO in 2025 and admitted to the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth in 2024, ITC champions digital health innovations.

We offer remote medical consultations via audio and video calls, provide online psychological support to over 1,500 patients, including war victims and abused women, and pioneered drone-based delivery of lab samples and medicine to homebound patients. All our physicians are accredited by the Iraqi Medical Association, ensuring quality and safety.

Beyond clinical care, we foster telehealth education, mobile pharmacy access, and community engagement—frequently collaborating with volunteers, donors, and awareness campaigns. Our mission: to break geographic and social healthcare barriers in Iraq using scalable technology and compassionate care.
