Our goal is to facilitate access to high-quality medical services for students of different age groups.
To achieve this goal, the Iraqi Telemedicine Center staff implemented the first effective experiment in an Iraqi university (Imam Adham University College); where tablets containing the Iraqi Telemedicine Center application were used, through which medical consultations are provided remotely via voice and video calls and text conversations with doctors in various medical specialties.
This experiment was supported by a mobile pharmacy! where a team of specialized pharmacists, in cooperation with the center's doctors, organized a list of the most important medications to treat common medical conditions in Iraqi universities and explained their most important uses.
The Ministry of Higher Education also expressed its admiration for this experiment! and the two parties agreed to organize educational courses and workshops for university staff regarding health fields, the most important of which is first aid! to ensure the presence of a paramedic in each university department.
Our mission includes all students in the universities’ residence due to the urgent need for medical services, especially with the university laws imposed on these residencies, which hinder the smooth provision of medical services.
This is just the beginning, as the Iraqi Telemedicine Center staff aspires to create a technological revolution in the health field that includes all areas that support human rights!
